Galaxy Wireless Communications Limited (GWCL) is a licensee of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) incorporated in Nigeria with RC No: 617347 as an affiliate of Galaxy Wireless Networks Inc. (GWN), a broadband wireless technology integrator with headquarters in Calgary Alberta, Canada.  

Galaxy Wireless global networks consist of carrier-class, broadband-capable platforms designed to carry mission critical data throughout diverse geographical locations, fully meshed and integrated with IP-based element managers that seamlessly plug into any intranet or the Internet to provide comprehensive element, subscriber, and performance management. 

 

 

Our Network Architecture

 

Our Network Architecture is built on the emerging WiMAX 802.16e standard, combines notably, the Smart Antenna^TM, Make-before-Break Baton Handoff^TM, and Multi Carrier Information Wireless Local Loop^TM amongst other technologies, and involves the deployment of a state of the art transport facility that enables convergence (Voice, Video, and Data) in communication services and provides single source telecommunications solutions with unparalleled devotion to the customer. 

 

          

Galaxy Wireless' service deployments were timed to allow for enhancements and full development of VoIP technology to ensure a constant delivery worldwide of toll quality voice, high-speed data, internet access, web hosting and e-commerce, remote access, dedicated access and tailored Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions to governmental, commercial and residential communities worldwide.
